In this study, we evaluated whether the micropipette-guided drugadministration (MDA) method, which promotes voluntary consumption using asweetened condensed milk vehicle, achieves therapeutically relevant plasma andbrain concentrations of two widely used analgesics, carprofen andbuprenorphine, in male and female C57BL/6 N and BALB/c mice.

In this study, we compared the efficiency parameters of the micropipette-guided drug administration (MDA) method between male and female C57BL/6N and BALB/c mice, two inbred strains commonly used in basic and preclinical research.

Applicability of the micropipette-guided drug administration (MDA) method for assessing reward-related behaviors in mice. Physiology & Behavior. 2025 Oct 1;299:114967. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physbeh.2025.114967.
In this study, we investigated whether acute or chronic exposure to the micropipette-guided drug administration (MDA) vehicle influences reward-related behaviors in male and female C57BL/6 mice. Behavioral performance was assessed using three commonly employed paradigms: the novelty-suppressed eating test, the sucrose preference test, and the incentive runway test.
